This redesign project focused on rethinking the atmosphere and layout of an already operating Altbau short term rental in Vienna, creating a warmer and more functional guest space within the existing structure.

The goal was to move away from the previous black-and-white interior and create a more balanced and inviting atmosphere while working with the existing key furniture pieces.

In the living area, we reworked the layout to improve flow and usability by relocating the TV and media unit to the opposite side of the room, creating a more natural focal point. The large sofa was also repositioned to ensure better viewing comfort and a clearer connection to the space, which opened up the room visually, improving circulation.

The new interior direction was achieved through updated textiles, decorative elements, lighting, a few new furniture pieces, and refined feature wall details. The result is a warmer palette of beige tones, gold accents, and soft colours, with the remaining black elements now serving as subtle highlights.

The redesign enhances both the guest experience and the overall value of the apartment, creating a more coherent and comfortable rental space.
